(공동취재) 2026.4.24 ⓒ 뉴스1 오대일 기자(서울=뉴스1) 권진영 기자 = 현직 교사들에게 거금을 주고 대학수학능력시험(수능) 관련 문항을 거래한 '수학 일타강사' 현우진 씨가 무죄를 선고받았다.서울중앙지법 형사10단독 이재욱 부장판사는 26일 오후 청탁금지법 위반 혐의로 기소된 현 씨에게 무죄를 선고했다.문항거래 혐의로 함께 기소된 교사 2명과 교재개발업체 관계자 A 씨에게도 무죄가 선고됐다.재판부는 "공무원들이 금품을 받은 경우 형법상 수뢰죄로 처벌받으려면 직무 관련성·대가성이 인정돼야 한다"며 "청탁금지법상 제8조 3항 3호를 판단함에 있어 사적거래의 합법성 여부는 고려될 수 없다"고 했다.해당 법령은 '외부강의 등에 관한 사례금 또는 사적거래로 인한 채무의 이행 등 정당한 권원(權原)에 의해 제공되는 금품 등의 경우 수수 금지 금품에 해당하지 않는다'고 규정하고 있다.재판부는 "법은 도덕의 최소한이고 형사처벌은 문제해결의 최후수단"이라며 직무수행의 공정성에 대해 의심을 불러일으킬 수 있다는 이유만으로 공무원을 처벌하는 것은 정당하지 않다고 했다.현 씨는 이날 법정에 출석하지 않았다.현 씨를 대리해 출석한 한은지 법무법인 지평 변호사는 "균형을 가지고 판결해 주신 재판부께 감사드린다"며 "이 사건은 수사 당시, 감사원 조사 당시부터 청탁금지법 위반이 법리적으로 성립할 수 없는 사건이었다"고 했다.기소됐던 현직 교사 2명에 대해서도 "징계위원회가 열리고, 징계 처분을 받은 것으로 알고 있다"며 "수사를 받고 고발됐다는 것 자체로 징계를 받아 굉장히 억울해하고 속상해하셨다"고 했다.한 변호사는 "재판을 받고 있는 교사 중 교직 생활을 그만둔 이도 있는 것으로 알고 있다"고 했다.이어 "'사교육 카르텔'이라는 이름이 붙여져 계속 언론 보도가 되다 보니 수사 기관에서 폭넓게 보고 무리하게 기소한 것이 아니겠나"라고 덧붙였다.현 씨는 교재개발업체 관계자 A 씨와 공모해 지난 2020년 3월~2023년 5월까지 약 4년간 수능 관련 문항 제작을 조건으로 교사 2명에게 총 3억4600만 원을 건넨 혐의로 지난해 12월 기소됐다.또 다른 교사의 배우자 명의 계좌로 7500만 원을 송금한 혐의도 받는다.。    Music duo Sachet and Parampara Tandon have set off a major buzz online after dropping a detailed video where they accuse composer Amaal Mallik of spreading what they call “false and baseless” claims about their 2019 hit Bekhayali from the Shahid Kapoor starrer Kabir Singh. The couple shared the video on Instagram and described it as an “expose” on Amaal Mallik. Their caption strongly stated, “Warning. They firmly maintain that the track was “entirely original” and was created during joint sessions with Shahid Kapoor and director Sandeep Reddy Vanga. According to them, they have complete chat records with Amaal and the Kabir Singh team that show every melody, beat and lyric came out of those meetings. They also clarify that they had no association with T Series before Kabir Singh, while Amaal had been working with the label since 2015, raising the question, “Why would anyone favour us when we were complete outsiders?”     The duo also put out screenshots of Amaal’s earlier messages where he had congratulated them after Bekhayali released and said he was “waiting” for the song. They add that they did not even have Amaal’s number in the beginning and that he was the one who contacted them first. Calling out his public remarks, they accuse him of speaking without any concrete proof and of “misleading fans” while repeatedly blaming the industry for his professional struggles. They stress that their music, including tracks like Har Har Mahadev, is original and built through their own hard work.                Sachet and Parampara conclude the video by demanding a public apology, saying Amaal’s comments have affected their image. They caution that they are ready to take legal steps if needed.
